Tabernacle's Wish List "Sharing God's Blessings... It's a heart thing" is Tabernacle's stewardship theme. This faith community has been blessed with many good and faithful stewards of God's blessings. You are encouraged to join them in supporting the ministry to which God has called Tabernacle.
Listed below are some of the ways you can share the blessings God has given you. As you read the list, ask God to open your heart and mind to the ministries they represent and ask how you can help financially.
Ministry Budget
Meeting the needs of Tabernacle's annual ministry budget is the primary financial need of the church. Our budget represents the ministry and mission to which God has called Tabernacle Baptist Church. Members and friends are encouraged to contribute first and foremost to this endeavor. As budgeted ministries are funded, Tabernacle will fulfill the portion of the Great Commission to which she has been called. All tithes should be given to the annual budget. Funds over and above the tithe can be given to fund the other needs shown below.
Journey in Faith Journey in Faith is a designated fund that is used for the development of future facilities. As we move into the future, ministry will take many different forms. Our facilities must change to meet the needs of those ministries. All donations to this fund should be over and above one's tithe or regular contribution to the annual ministry budget.
World Missions
Each year, Tabernacle's members and friends contribute to a number of church-approved missions entities outside of the annual budgetary process. When one contributes to World Missions, their donations are divided among the following missions programs and ministries.
