Preschool Ministry
The goal of Tabernacle's Preschool Ministry is to provide a safe, clean, secure, and happy environment for preschoolers so they will enjoy coming to church and begin learning about God, Jesus, the natural world, the Bible, self, others, family, and church.

 Bible Study: Bible Study provides for the child age-appropriate Bible learning opportunities. It will give preschoolars the foundation they will need to love God more and more as they grow. Classes are designed to meet the needs of each child through activity-based lessons. Preschoolers use hands-on characteristics to learn about the eight basic subject areas: God, Jesus, Natural World, Bible, Self, Others, Family, and Church.
Extended Teaching Care: (ETC)Extended Teaching Care is the extending or continuation of Bible-learning activities for preschoolars after the Sunday School hour. Each activity provides opportunities for preschoolers to learn more about one of the basic subject areas.
 ETC provides a ministry to parents by allowing them to give their full attention during the worship service. In order to staff ETC, we request parents of preschoolers and other church members to volunteer. Each room will consist of two adults age 16 years and over.
Mission Friends: Mission Friends is the preschool missions organization for two-, three-, four-, and five-year olds. Through this program, preschoolers learn about missionaries and begin to apply mission principles in other areas of their lives.
Preschool Choir is available for children ages 3-5.
Vacation Bible School is a week full of surprises, as preschoolers experience "hands-on" learning that teaches them about God. Nothing beats Vacation Bible School for Bible adventure and summertime fun! VBS is usually in June and is for preschoolers beginning at 4 years old.
Parent's Night Out is a ministry to parents. One evening each month, parents can leave their children at church so that they might enjoy an evening to do shopping, go to the movies, etc.
Mom's Morning Out (MMO) is held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. This ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church is activity based and provides quality child care for children six to twenty-four months of age.
Summer Mom's Morning Out (SMMO) is designed to bridge the long summer months for ages 6 to 24 months. It is scheduled one day a week in June and July. There is a daily rate to participate.
