Pastoral Ministry
The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-13
Tabernacle's Pastoral Team seeks to lead our congregation by serving and empowering members to be the Body of Christ in Carrollton and around the world.
We believe that God is calling Tabernacle to be a leading voice for proclaiming the truth of Scripture, for propagating a biblical worldview in our culture, and for making disciples of all nations.
We also believe that God will use our church with other like-minded groups of believers across denominational, cultural, and ethnic barriers if we will humbly seek to learn from and to work with others that God is calling for the advance of his Kingdom.
For these purposes we have committed ourselves to providing servant, pastoral leadership in our own setting with the prayer that God would lead others to become servant-leaders in the cause of Christ.
Pastoral care is important at Tabernacle. The Pastoral Team is committed to doing everything it can to minister to the needs of this community of faith, both in times of crisis and need. They also stand ready to celebrate and worship with you as God blesses your life with joy and peace.
