Men's Ministry
Vision Statement: "Transforming men to engage their families, the church and the world for Christ."
Men are challenged to pursue a life that is focused on Christ and to develop into men of integrity and Godly character.
This is accomplished through mutual accountability, small group Bible study, relevant teaching, retreat opportunities, and missions involvement.
Monday morning accountability group (off campus).
Those who have attended a Wellspring retreat sponsored by the Wellspring Group are invited to participate weekly on Monday mornings at 6:00 a.m. Call the Equipping Office for details.
Wednesday noon Bible study (off campus).
Men are invited to join us at noon on Wednesdays at the office of Harden Law Firm, 605 Newnan Street, for lunch ($5), Bible study, fellowship and prayer. Contact Joe Harden, Men's Ministry Council chair, for additional information
Wednesday evening Bible study (at Tabernacle).
Men are encouraged to join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the parlor for fellowship, encouragement and discussion on current topics of interest to me. Call the Equipping Office for more details.
Quarterly breakfast and mission project workday.
On the last Saturday of each quarter, the men gather in the Fellowship Hall at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, an inspiring program, testimonies, and good fellowship. Following breakfast, the men move into action to perform deeds of service locally. This is a good way to "get your hands dirty" by getting involved in ministry. Call the Equipping Office for more details.
Sunday evening Bible study (at Tabernacle).
Men's small group studies are offered during Discipleship for Life session in spring and fall each year. Check the DfL listings for current offerings
Missions engagement.
At tabernacle, men are challenged to get involved personally in mission action. Opportunities vary and include completing work projects at church, in the community and beyond. Click here for pictures of recent mission projects.
