Rev. Janet Cleland
Associate Pastor for Children
Janet, a life-long resident of California, became Tabernacle's Associate Pastor for Children on January 1, 2012. She is a graduate of the California State University and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in San Francisco, California.
Before moving to Carrollton, Janet served as a Children's Pastor, Minister of Education and Administration, Minister to Preschoolers, YMCA Center Director, and Principle of Merryhill |
Country School. In addition, she has been a conference leader and trainer in curriculum development, a women's retreat speaker, and a Christian Education consultant for the Southern Baptist State Convention of California.
Janet and her husband, Mike, have two grown children - Cameron, who lives in Nashville and Caitlin who is married to Matthew and lives in Atlanta.
