Proposed Bylaw Changes
Proposed changes to Tabernacle's Bylaws were presented for discussion at the April 2009 Church Conference and will be voted on at the Church Conference on July 26, 2009.
A copy of the proposals may be downloaded here. Hard copies may also be obtained in the church office.
Members are strongly encouraged to obtain a copy of this proposal and to read it prior to the Church Conference on July 26.
Community Fireworks Watch is Saturday, July 4, Tabernacle parking lot. Tabernacle's Connect praise band will begin playing at 7:30 pm. Come watch the city's fireworks display at Tab this year!
Church Family Photos Available: Photos of the Tabernacle Family taken prior to the church-wide covered dish luncheon on May 31 are now available by placing your order in the church office. 5 x 7 photos are $5, and 8 x 10 photos are $10. All proceeds will benefit Chris and Katie Nalls' mission work in Mozambique.
Student Bible Study meets every Wednesday through the summer in Room 316 at 6 pm.
Connect for Students (Grades 7th-12th & College)resumes July 12 at 6:30 pm in Room 316.
OAR Whitewater Trip: July 10-12, for students. Cost is $175 per person. July 3 is the deadline to sign up!
Mission Trip Opportunity: July 10-17, Galveston, TX. Partnering with First Baptist Church Villa Rica, Tabernacle will be sending volunteers to work on homes damaged by hurricane flooding. Cost is $125 which includes transportation and most meals. Participants will stay in a local church. Couples and families are also welcome! Contact Phil McGukin at 678-776-6517 if you are interested!
